DPP-270Max: CE-Related Safety and Faster, Tool-Free Mold Changes

The DPP-270Max Flat-Plate Blister Packaging Machine features several upgrades addressing machinery safety and operational efficiency.

Warning labels have been added to key hazard areas, including the heat sealing and punching stations. A protective guard at the punching station helps reduce the risk of accidental access to moving components. These design measures reflect important CE marking and machinery risk assessment considerations, where hazard identification, risk reduction, and appropriate safeguards are essential.

The machine’s modular design has also been upgraded. La formazione, sigillatura a calore, and punching stations now feature drawer-style mold assemblies, allowing operators to remove and install molds without tools or time-consuming manual alignment. Guide slots direct each mold into position, simplifying changeovers and improving access for maintenance and cleaning.

An optional extended film-splicing platform provides another practical advantage. Operators can prepare a new PVC roll in advance, overlap and secure the film ends, and reject the blister cards produced during the splice. This helps reduce interruptions during film replacement.

NJP-1500D: Cleaner Capsule Filling Through Improved Design

The NJP-1500D Capsule Filling Machine introduces two upgrades addressing powder residue and capsule discharge.

At the capsule locking station, hollow pins allow compressed air to help clear powder residue from the upper and lower mold holes while the machine operates. A dust extraction device works alongside the pins to collect residual powder and help reduce buildup.

For pharmaceutical manufacturers working under EU GMP principles, equipment cleanability and contamination control are important considerations. This combined air-cleaning and dust extraction design supports efforts to manage powder residues during capsule production.

The discharge station also features air blowing assist device. At high speeds, larger capsules may occasionally remain at the outlet. Additional airflow helps release capsules that have not dropped promptly, supporting smoother discharge and more stable operation.

More Than Machinery: Technical Support from FAT to Training

Ruida Packing provides comprehensive Test di accettazione in fabbrica (GRASSO) documentazione, on-site installation and commissioning, and operator training. These services help customers understand machine operation, parameter settings, and routine maintenance before production begins.

From CE-related safety considerations and EU GMP-oriented cleaning needs to faster mold changes and reliable capsule discharge, the latest design improvements focus on practical challenges faced by pharmaceutical and nutraceutical manufacturers.
